Dr. Canelos is a board-certified adult psychiatrist and reproductive psychiatry fellow. She is a Tucson native and fluent Spanish speaker. Following over a decade of work as a professional ballerina, Dr. Canelos completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles before earning her medical degree at Boston University. Her training at Massachusetts General Hospital includes extensive experience working at the MGH Center for Women's Mental Health. Dr. Canelos has publications related to women's mental health, including mood disorders and substance use during pregnancy. Dr. Canelos' goal is to collaborate with patients in accomplishing their treatment goals together.
Dr. Canelos specializes in perinatal mood disorders, disordered eating, OCD, psychosis, dual diagnosis, and substance use disorders especially in women throughout their lifespan. Se habla Español.
