Dr. Shirey is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and Medical Degree from Texas A&M University Health Sciences Center College of Medicine. He completed his residency training in psychiatry at the Brown University School of Medicine. Dr. Shirey was fortunate to work and teach in a variety of clinical settings in urban and rural areas of Alaska prior to practicing in Arizona. He has worked with both civilian and veteran patients throughout his career. He has extensive experience in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. Dr. Shirey’s goal is to provide holistic psychiatric care to his patients in a collaborative manner.
Dr. Shirey specializes in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, as well as the psychiatric aspects of medical conditions.
