Dr. Alcocer is a licensed Clinical Psychologist. She is from Illinois and fluent Spanish speaker. Dr. Alcocer completed her PsyD in Clinical Psychology and Masters in Counseling Psychology at Adler University. Dr. Alcocer has worked in a multitude of settings, including community mental health, inpatient units, assisted living facilities, and military bases. She is trained in EMDR and psychodynamic therapy and employs an integrative approach in her work with patients. Dr. Alcocer enjoys administering cognitive and personality psychological testing, which offers insight into her patient’s needs and allows her to collaborate with patients on their treatment goals.
Dr. Alcocer specializes in cognitive and psychological testing, trauma depression, anxiety, LGBTQIA+ related stressors, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, psychosis, and substance use disorders. Se habla Español.
